Do you own a boat or camper van? All Aces Services can tailor a cleaning package suitable to your vessel.

boat cleaning Own boat, superyacht or campervan? We clean and protect carpets, vinyl, leather on any size boat or camper van, whether it be in the water off road.  We have done jobs at Rivergate, Wynnum Manly Yacht Club, Gold Coast Marina and many more.  Typical cleaning that we do involves cleaning around air conditioning vents as filtration marks form, red wine stain removal from parties on board… And mattresses too. Blind cleaning and curtain cleaning is also available.  Other items we clean on board range from lamp shades, quilt covers and cushions.

As most seating areas are removable, these can be done onsite or these can be done at our factory located at Morningside.

As much of the carpet and upholstery onboard your boat is exposed to the elements such as sunlight and salt water, it is important to maintain them by cleaning and protecting them regularly.  The harsh UV rays can discolour and deteriorate fabric, leather vinyl and some carpets too.

Whether it be early morning cleaning or on a weekend we are flexible when other maintenace is being completed on board.

We are members of the Super Yacht Base Brisbane.  We have been members for the last two years and have worked on small boats to large yachts, to large super yachts.  Some super yachts that we have worked on have been valued at over $100 Million Dollars.  The use of protective equipment is a must as well as having certifications in order to clean such expensive items.  All our technicians are trained and certified through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning of Restoration.  Our experienced technicians are trained in Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, Rug Cleaning, Hard Surface Cleaning, Drapery Cleaning and Water Damage Restoration.

Myths About Red Wine….

Uh oh! You’ve spilt red wine on your carpet, rug or upholstery? What to do? First thing to do is not to panic, there is always more red wine!!  Second thing to do is read about what to do, below…. Old wives tales may cause you more damage….redwinespill 300x203 Myths About Red Wine....

1. Act Quickly Many Stains can easily be removed when they are fresh, but can be stubborn if left over a long period of time.  The best thing to do is soak up as much as you can with a white towel or cloth.  AVOID using salt or talcum powder on the stain.  A lot of articles advise these methods are great to just sprinkle on and vacuum up later…. What they don’t tell you is  that this can in fact set the stain further or bleach the carpet.

2. Don’t rush to scrub  When we say act quickly and attend to the stain, this doesn’t mean attack the stain with any and all household products and a brush.  Depending on the fibre, the household products as well as scrubbing the stain can in fact cause irriversible fibre damage and colour loss in some cases.

3. Washing the stain  Adding soda water to a red wine stain will not assist with removing the stain.  This will merely spread the stain through the underlay and make a larger area where the stain will need to be removed.  Don’t always assume that the carpet or upholstery can be washed – always read the label first.

4. Call a professional  It is important to speak with a professional regarding stain removal.  It is recommended that the technicians are trained are certified through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration.  This will ensure that they know the most effective and safe way to remove the stain from your carpet.  Some carpets that come out of a factory can be acid dyed.  As red wine is an acid dye it will change the colour of the carpet, this can make it difficult to remove.

RUG CLEANING

We have just been to the America and visited New York. My wife Carmel and myself went to Rug Renovations and Long Island Rug Cleaning, these companies wash up to 40 000 rugs a year each. These companies was amazing and has given us – All Aces Services some great ideas to implement to improve our business to be able to better service our clients.

We also went to the conference “Connections” held in Las Vegas – this is the biggest Cleaning/Restoration conference in the world for our industry. There were great demostration – especially for Rugs, which were focused on removing the dry soil from rugs and also for rugs that have been effected by Urine. What we were very impressed with was the new equipment that has been created for rugs – which was a Industrial size Spin Dryer and new Hanging racks. The knowledge that Aaron and Ellen passed on to the attendees was very impressive. We have enrolled in he Rug Master Training Program that will begin next year.

The demo station for the Urine Treatment of rugs was where they submerged the rug into the wash pit and with the use of the MASTERBLEND urine Products the rugs was soaked, rollered and then rinse. From this washing procedure the rug was placed in Centre Fuse Evolution Spin Dryer to remove the excess water and then additional rinse can also be completed as part of the process and then spun again. The Rug was then hung ready for drying – which was done on the new motorised hanging machine, which reduces the extra labour that is usually needed to hang rugs.

Aaron and Ellen run Master Rug Cleaning Schools in Dallas – Texas, @ Ellens’ Rug Factory. The course is in March and October for 3 days at a time. The course is very comprehensive it covers; Rug Cleaning, Fringe Cleaning, Rug Identification, Rug Origin, Dye Bleeding, Repairs and How to step up a Rug Cleaning Factory, which also comes with Aaron and Ellen’s full support and knowledge. Phillip McGurk and Myself will be attending next year to further our knowledge to better service our clients in Rug Cleaning.
