High Pressure Water and Concrete Cleaning

I live in Brisbane and was recently looking to clean up around my garden as it had become a bit messy and dirty looking.  I have a medium sized outside patio which is a concrete and paved surface.  The paved area seemed to be a general brown colour.  I also have a painted concrete side path and driveway.  Over the years there had been a build up of general dirt and grime as well as in certain areas there was some mossy growth.  This was particularly evident in areas that remained wet after rain and areas that had a build up of leaf litter.IMG 2301 300x225 High Pressure Water and Concrete Cleaning

I asked Garry Carroll, the owner of All Aces Services, about it.  He recommended the use of the petrol powered high pressure water cleaner.  I arranged to have a qualified All Aces Services technician come out and clean my out door area.  As the technician worked and the dirt and grime was blasted away we couldn’t believe our eyes.  As you can see from the photo on the right, the pavers are actually a creamy colour with a red border.  Who would have thought??!!

Also in our outdoor area we haveIMG 0064 300x225 High Pressure Water and Concrete Cleaning a wooden seating structure bordering the gardens.  This had become black looking over time and nobody really wanted to sit there.  The high power water pressure cleaner was able to blast away the grime and they came up looking fresh and wooden again.  They are now much more appealing to sit on.

We are extremely pleased at how nicely the outdoor area looks now.  We are no longer ashamed to have visitors over to see it.

The high powered water pressure cleaning system is extremely effective on driveways, concrete, bricks, walls and also on roofs.  It is also effective in graffiti removal, grease, mould, paint and rust removal.  If you are located in Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast and require high pressure water cleaning, please call All Aces Services on 1800 00 10 10 and we can arrange to have a qualified technician over to your place for amazing results.  You won’t regret it, we certainly didn’t!

Carpet For Life – Maintenance cleaning

Carpets should always be maintained. The biggest concern I have, especially as the Commercial and Residential Coordinator, is that companies and people wait till their carpets look dirty before having them cleaned. One of my major goals at All Aces Services is to put companies on a maintenance cleaning plan.

My latest success story was a company located in Brisbane at Paddington. They booked in to have their carpets cleaned as a one off but the carpets had not been cleaned in years. We sent Jai one of our most experienced and qualified technicians to clean their carpets.

Upon cleaning the carpets it was noted that the water was coming out black! You can imagine that this not only not good for the life the carpets but nor is it very hygienic. I approached them after the carpets had been cleaned. Little to say they were horrified in realising how dirty and how unhygienic their carpets were. With the feedback from the tech we have now a maintenance plan in place to have their carpets cleaned quarterly.31208 433259704992 169210359992 5273649 7697584 n 300x225 Carpet For Life Maintenance cleaning

It is stressful enough running a business especially with added worry of knowing when carpets, pest control, air conditioners and coffee machines etc need to be serviced. We take that worry out of it for you by putting together your own personalised maintenance plan and contacting you every 3 or 6 months to organise your maintenance clean. You will now add years of life to your carpet and know that your carpet is constantly clean and hygienic for your staff and clients.

Be sure to call All Aces Services so we can put together your own maintenance plan. Whether it is for carpets, pest control, vinyl, tiles or upholstery we do it all and at a discounted rate for 6 and 3 month contracts.  Call us now on 1800 00 1010 as we are waiting to take your call.

Concrete Sealing

April 13, 2010

Concrete sealers are beneficial to your wallet considering the amount of time and money it can cost you to have your concrete relayed or repaired. Concrete sealers substanstially increase safety as well as increase the appeal of your concrete. They prevent contamination, abrasion, cracking, efflorescence leaching and much more.

Concrete is a porous material and you can either use a penetrating sealer which ‘fills’ all the holes leaving a ‘matte finish’ (so it looks the same as any concrete slab, but enhances the cracks and characteristics of the concrete which is now popular in the modern look). Or you can apply an acrylic top coat sealer which sits on top of the concrete and gives a ‘gloss finish’.

A penetrating sealer is more beneficial for the concrete and is easier for long term maintenance, however it has a ‘rough’ texture and is difficult for mopping. The acrylic top coat  is easy to clean as it is smooth like tiles, easy to mop and keep clean but more difficult for long term maintenance as the top coat sealer can wear down and may require top ups or stripping back and a new coat being put down over the top.

We have recently been contacted by one our large building insurance clients to complete a concrete sealing job. The insured’s home has had some severe water damage throughout which has required some extensive building works to take place.

When the water has gone over the polished concrete floor it has damaged and broken down sections of the sealer which does not give off an attractive appearance.

Our technician attended the site to test some areas with stripper to ensure the pre-existing sealer would be easily removed and also tested a small area to determine the correct sealer to use for the job.
