As members of the Super Yacht Base, All Aces Services have been cleaning boats for over 15 years and not just any boats. We clean a lot of super yachts and on a regular basis. One particular boat that comes to mind is one that is located in the prestige precinct of Raby Bay on Brisbane’s Bayside. We clean this boat up to 4 times a year or every time it comes into port.

These boats can be worth 10’s of millions of dollars often with beautiful tailor made carpet and polished wood grain tables. Whilst the boats can be a similar size to house it can take twice or even three times the amount time to clean. This can be due to the high quality of carpet, the size of the areas (being so small) or items that can be broken or scratched if the high care is not taken.

Jai and Ray recently cleaned the carpets and upholstery on this particular boat located at Raby Bay. It took them almost all day and they made sure they used drop sheets throughout the boat. Jai cleaned the boat while Ray held the hoses making sure they were not running on and ruining any of the beautiful wood grain. Once again the owners were extremely happy with the end result.

As much of the carpet and upholstery onboard your boat is exposed to the elements such as sunlight and salt water, it is important to maintain them by cleaning and protecting them regularly.  The harsh UV rays can discolour and deteriorate fabric, leather vinyl and some carpets too.
